When a retail business trades internationally, customs issues have an impact on many levels. Costs, delivery times and compliance are all factors that affect competitiveness. Against this backdrop, our client, Groupe Rand, needed to improve the tracking of its products during this crucial stage of customs clearance.

Our team therefore integrated the Conex customs clearance tool directly into their SAP Retail ERP system. This enables staff to submit customs declarations, automatically integrate the customs invoice into the system, and then notify the warehouse that the goods have been cleared through customs so that they can be recorded in stock. All of this takes place in real time.
